William Glen Ford

William Glen Ford, 88, died Sunday, February 11, 2018, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. He was born June 30, 1929, in New Albany to Author and Florence Hines Ford. He was a member of Keownville Baptist Church. He served in the U. S. Army. He was retired from Johnson & Baker Furniture where he worked in the Frame Department.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at United Funeral Service with Bro. Jerry Bishop officiating. Burial will be in Keownville Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by 2 daughters: Glenda Floyd (Chris) of Fulton and Teresa Brown (Ira) of Myrtle; 3 grandchildren: Tonya Graham (Nathan), Zach Martin, and Haley Floyd; 1 great-grandchild: Austin Graham. Also very special to PawPaw Ford were Mike and Wanda Gonzales and their children: Josh, Jessica, and Shelby.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 sisters: Alene Roberts, Opal Grubbs, and Avis Ford; and 1 brother: James Keylon Ford.
Pallbearers will be Gary Chism, Lavern Ketchum, Kenneth Roberts, Bill Pollard, Terry Hill, and Bobby McGill. Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Chism, Norman Hill, and members of the Senior Adult Sunday School Class at Keownville Baptist Church.
Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, at United.
In honor of Mr. Ford’s service to his country United Funeral Service will fly the U. S. Army flag during his visitation and service.
