On this sunny day, Monday, March 12, the first day of spring break, two little boys went missing in eastern Union County.
They were gone long enough that the adult in charge became concerned and reported them missing to law enforcement officers.
Sheriff Jimmy Edwards and some deputies drove out that way to help in the search. Within a few minutes of the arrival of law officers, the two young boys wandered back to the house in the company of several pet dogs that had been with them.
The sheriff said both boys had “all 10 fingers and all ten toes.”
They, of course, weren’t lost at all. Knew where they were the whole time.
