Richard Wayne Wylie

Richard Wayne Wylie, 60, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018 at the North Mississippi Medical Center. He was born June 20, 1958 in Greenwood MS to the late Earnest A. Wylie and Callie Lee Orr Wylie.

There will be a private graveside service for family only at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2018 at Pleasant Ridge cemetery with Bro. Mark Tutor officiating. United Funeral Service will be in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by his three daughters, Amanda Lorene Cianflone (Zakk) of Pensacola, FL, Heather Marie Wylie of Quincy, FL, and Mary Elizabeth Gaskin of Cedar Bluff; one son, Henry Duane Wylie (Jessica) of Dumas; four sisters, Linda Richards (Doug) of Mantachie, Carolyn Lishman (Thomas) of Coila, Daisy Bailey of Elliot, and Betty Ruth Wylie of Winona; four brothers, Willard Wylie (Addie) of Winona, Royce Wylie of Kilmichael, Billy Wylie of Tomnolen, and Earnest A Wylie Jr. (Loretta) of Tomnolen; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Mary Gayle Hill; his parents; three sisters, Katie Mae Neely, Ruby Lee Paxton, and Anna Laura Wylie; two brothers, E. W. Wylie, and Baby Boy Wylie; father-in-law, Gilbert “Duke” Hill; son-in-law, Danny Joe Gaskin; brother-in-law, Michael L. Collums; and sister-in-law, Julie Ann Fulton.

Pallbearers will be James Earl Power, Brian Camp, Brandon Gray, Earl Power, Carlton Beard, Daniel Power, and Aaron Gaskin. Honorary Pallbearers are nephews, North Mississippi Medical Center 3rd floor staff, and Critical Care Unit staff.
