Richard Wayne Savely

Richard Wayne Savely, 62, died Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. He was born December 7, 1955 to John Abbott Savely and Libby Russell Savely. He was a member of Ingomar Baptist Church.
He worked at Futorian for years. He managed a Building Supply Store for twenty years. One accomplishment he was proud of was helping get the Ingomar Volunteer Fire Dept. started and served as its first fire chief for fifteen years. As a young man, he donated a kidney to his brother, who had came back from Vietnam with damage.
Funeral services will be 11:00a.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018 at United Funeral Service with Dr. Terry Cutrer officiating. Burial will be at Liberty Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
He is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Hughes of Coffeeville, Nancy Floyd (Paul B.) of Ingomar and Beth Berryhill of Pontotoc; two brothers, Paul Savely (Connie) and Jack Savely (Sandra) of Pontotoc.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Marie Jones, Doris Caldwell and Martha Ann Mayo; and a brother, John David Savely.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Floyd, Mike Floyd, Steve Mayo, Donald Mayo, Bill Gray, Chuck Wicker and Jimmy Meggs.
Visitation will be Friday, May 25, 2018 from 4:00p.m. till 6:00p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Ingomar Baptist Church.
