Rev. Kenny Adair

Bro. Kenny Adair, 82, passed away on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at North Delta Hospice House in Southaven, MS. He was born December 26, 1935 in Union County to the late Henry and Dolly Williams Adair. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.

He was a Baptist minister, having first pastored West Tallahatchie Baptist Church, retiring from Neely Baptist Church and serving many churches between the two. He loved visiting with and ministering to others.

Funeral services will be at 3:00p.m. Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at United Funeral Service with Bro. James Lewis and Bro. James Arnold officiating. Burial will be at Vista Memorial Park. United Funeral Service will be in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by one daughter< Pam Klepzig (Steve) of Hernando, MS; one son, Tim Adair of Pontotoc, MS; one sister, Jane Cole (James) of Vernon, AL; William Adair (Glenda) of Ingomar, MS; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Phil Adair, Cliff Adair, Jeff Adair, Tony Adair, Nathan Morris and Matthew Morris. The American Legion Post 72 will serve as honorary pallbearers and will conduct military honors.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 11:00a.m. until service time at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorials be made to Neely Baptist Church in New Albany or to the charity of donor’s choice.

In honor of his service to his country, United Funeral Service will fly the U.S. Army flag during his visitation and funeral service.
