Republican Women to present program on Human Trafficking -

Human trafficking is a growing horror in the United States and the Union County Republican Women Club are offering the opportunity for people to become more educated and informed on this subject. It is a fact that there is someone new touched by this heinous crime everyday. In Mississippi, there was a reported surge of this crime last year, due to the fact that this “business” has little to no risk.

The Union County Republican Club has invited Kathy Brummett to New Albany on Monday January 25th. The meeting will be held at 6:30 pm at the Magnolia Civic Center. Mrs. Brummett will talk about awareness and how everyone can help in suspected situations of human trafficking.

This meeting is free and open to the public, whether you are a male or female. Light refreshments will be served. Groups are encouraged to come also.
