Republican Women Club to host guest speaker, court candidates September 26/UPDATED

New Albany, MS- The Union County Republican Women will meet on Monday, September 26, at 6:30 p.m. at The Holiday Inn Express, 300 Hwy 30 W, New Albany.

The speaker will be Mary Hawkins Butler, mayor of the City of Madison, Mississippi. Mayor Butler has served the City of Madison as mayor since 1981.

The evening will also include an opportunity for five candidates running for the Mississippi Supreme Court to speak. For District 3, Place 2 the candidate is incumbent Judge Jimmy Maxwell and for District 3, Place 1 the candidates are John Brady, Judge Bobby Chamberlin, Steve Crampton, and Jim Kitchens.

A meal will be served. All are welcome.
