Reid Liddell Littlejohn

Reid Liddell Littlejohn, 93, died at his residence on May 1, 2017. Mr. Littlejohn was born March 25, 1924, in Union County the son of Luther and Nannie Lou Littlejohn. He was a member of Wallerville Baptist Church and was a retired supervisor of Babcock and Wilcox. Mr. Littlejohn served his country in the US Navy during World War II.

Funeral services will be held at 11 A. M. on Thursday at Glenfield Funeral Home, with burial following at Wallerville Baptist Church Cemetery. Reverend Johnny Rakestraw will officiate. Visitation is Wedensday from 4 P. M. until 6 P. M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife of 75 years, Easel Whisenant Littlejohn of Blue Springs; two sons, Billy Reid Littlejohn of Highland, N. C. and Larry Littlejohn of Blue Springs; two sisters, Melba Beaty of Pontotoc, and Lillie Smith of Brunswick, GA; one brother, Richard Littlejohn of New Albany, twelve granchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Luther Charles Littlejohn; sister, Louise Denton; and brother, Thomas Franklin Littlejohn.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Wallerville Baptist Church.
