Ola Jean Tate Boyd

Ola Jean Tate Boyd, 87, died Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo. She was born July 27, 1929, in Union County to Walter and Louie Kennedy Tate. She was a member of Parks Baptist Church. Until her retirement she was a self-employed flooring installer.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 2, 2017, at Parks Baptist Church with Bro. Sammy Little, Bro. Frank Wilder, and Bro. Mike Brazeal officiating. Burial will be in Center Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by 2 sisters: Voncile Watson and Ruby Ragsdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Troy Boyd; and 2 brothers: Walton Tate and Bobby Fay Tate.
Pallbearers will be Adam Speck, John Moffitt, Skipper Allen, Tim Pannell, Carlton Medlin, and Steve Watson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Benny Rakestraw, Joe Bryant, Norman Treadaway, and Dennis Rakestraw.
