“Our students were very excited to receive the crafts in the mail from all across the country. As they received each piece of mail, a star was placed on the map’s location from where it came,” stated Littlejohn.  Mail was received from PA, TX, CA, WI, FL, NJ, SC, CT, NY, TN, IN, KS, MA, and OK. A school from CA wrote about their school being very close to the beach. A school from PA wrote that they usually get to make a lot of snowmen after winter break because it snows there a lot.

“Not only was the project fun but also students learned about letter writing, map skills, and vocabulary. The project was a success!”
