NASC&T students studying the threat of obesity

,

New Albany, MS- Students in Nannette Ballard’s Family Science classes at the New Albany High School of Career & Technical Education are learning about the consequences of obesity. Ballard received funding through the Dean Provence Endowment for Excellence in Education grant program and was able to purchase a “Consequences of Obesity Interactive Display”. Ballard uses this hands-on display to model that obesity is a serious health threat.
