NAHS Hosts Envirothon Training for North Region

New Albany High School hosted the North Region Envirothon Training Session on Saturday, February 28. Students from New Albany, Desoto Central, Benton County, Vardaman, Oxford, and Millsaps Career & Technology Center-Starkville attended the event. Participants rotated through four learning stations including forestry, wildlife, soils, and aquatics. Agencies assisting with the training were: U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, & Parks, and Mississippi Museum of Natural Science.
