This special career event was held on Thursday, September 29.  Students rotated through several stations to learn about various careers and understand how these individuals work with animals in their daily jobs.  These students had recently completed a reading unit series that focused on “How People and Animals Help Each Other”.

First graders had the opportunity to learn from:  Belinda Chism, Shallow Creek Bucking Bulls; Officer Paul Voyles, New Albany Police Department; Gina Wills, Mississippi State Extension Service-Union County; Stanley Wise, Wise Family Farms; and Dr. Lindsey Smith, New Albany Small Animal Clinic.
