Thomas Milburn “Mib” Browning, 85, died Monday, April 10, 2017 at Union County Health and Rehab. He was born May 5, 1931 in Union County to Herman David Browning and Lula Maybell Bailey Browning. He was retired from Claybrook Furniture and served his country in the U.S. Army where he fought in the Korean War. He attended Bethany Primitive Baptist Church.
Services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at United Funeral Service with Elder Roger Browning and Elder Larry Wise officiating. Burial will be at Shady Grove. United Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his sister, Ruby Jean Williams of New Albany and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Inez Browning, Jewel Rakestraw, Doris Tate, Ruth Russell, and Dot Wilhite; and three brothers, Robert Browning, Albert Browning, and Carlton Browning.
Pallbearers will be the great nephews.
Visitation will be 11:00 AM until Service time Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at United Funeral Service.
In honor of Mr. Browning’s service to his country United Funeral Service will fly the Army Flag during his visitation and service.
