Louise Freeman Wilson

New Albany-Louise Freeman Wilson, 72, died Friday, May 25, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford. She was the widow of Thomas (Tokey) L. Wilson. Born October 18, 1945 in Woodland, MS to the late William Bell and Annette Parks Freeman, she was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in New Albany and a retired bookkeeper with First National Bank. Louise loved her church, was devoted to animals, who were like her children, and worked tirelessly in her yard.
Services will be held Friday, June 1, at 5 p.m. in the United Funeral Chapel with Rev. Tom Sumrall officiating. There will be a visitation held from 4 to 5 p.m. United Funeral Service is handling the arrangements.
Louise is survived by her sister, Gale Swords (Jimmy); her brother, William (Sandra) Freeman all of New Albany; sisters-in-law, Barbara Freeman and Virginia Wilson; and several nieces and nephews and their children.
She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a brother, Jerry Freeman; and a sister, Peggy Gann and her husband, Donald Gene Gann.
