Theodore, AL—Jimmy Edwin Boland, 50, died Sunday, November 25, 2018, at M. D. Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX. He was born April 18, 1958, in Fort Smith, AR., to Jack and Nell Ann McDonald Boland. He was a truck driver for Greenbush Logistics of Mobile, AL. He was a Baptist and a U. S. Army veteran.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018, at United Funeral Service with Bro. Bobby Cobb officiating. Burial will be in Ellistown Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.

He is survived by 2 brothers: Mike Boland (Cindy) and David Boland (Sandra), both of Blue Springs; his very close friend: Randy Dyson (Tracy Brezenzer), Randy’s daughter: Clara Dyson, Randy’s grandson: Hudson Neal; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and special friends: Johnny and Brenda Dyson

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Pallbearers will be Doug Tate, Tommy Courtney, Jr., Mike Wages, Rhandell Dyson, Jimmy Bridges, Dan Boland, and Michael Boland, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Johnny Dyson.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 1, 2018.

In honor of Mr. Boland’s service to his country United Funeral Service will fly the U. S. Army flag during his service and visitation.
