How did Paper Angels become good news for thousands of kids?

 Award-winning country music star Jimmy Wayne was the recipient of an Angel Tree gift when he was 14 years old.

Charles and Shirley White worked for the Salvation Army in a Lynchburg, Virginia shopping Mall when they began the Paper Angels program in 1979. Jimmy Wayne received a very important gift from that program.
