Good news from China for American conservationists

The Brandon Preserve

Jack Ma, the Chinese multi-billionaire behind online shopping giant Alibaba has purchased 28,000 acres of American wilderness in the Adirondack Mountains.

Ma, China’s richest citizen, is a noted conservationist, and plans to turn the land into a wildlife sanctuary, protecting its timber and water from logging and mining operations in the region.
