Esta Nadine Bell Brown
January 10, 1924 – April 10, 2018
Ellistown-Estha Nadine Bell Brown, 94, of Blue Springs went home to her Heavenly Father, April 10, 2018, at Diversicare in Tupelo.
She was a faithful and loving wife to Cecil Clayton Brown for 64 years. She was the sweetest mother ever to June Easterling (Raymond Earl) and Lori Roberts (Jeff). She was a wonderful grandmother to Renee Easterling.
She was an active member of Ellistown Baptist Church as long as she was able. She was a friendly and patient lady who had a talent for being able to teach others how to do anything she knew how to do the quickest and easiest way. She had compassion for people less fortunate than she was, because she knew from experiences early in life what it was to be without. She was a talented seamstress and could do arts and crafts of any kind well. She had the most beautiful blue eyes.
She read her bible every morning as soon as the breakfast dishes were done. She was a fine Christian Lady who loved the Lord and tried to live according to His example. She loved to play games and was good at most of them.
She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents, Robert and Ollie Bell Pannell Bell; and two sisters, Myra Dye and Billie Jean Bell, who died as an infant.
Along with her daughters, sons-in-law, and granddaughter, she is survived by one sister, Joye Dye Ferrell, and a brother, Ronnie Bell (Jackie) both of whom she helped raise and loved as her own children. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Lawson Brown (Shirley) and Earl Brown (Sarah); and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Paul Wayne Bradley, Allen Brown, John Bruce, Mike Moore, J.D. Roberts, and Bobby Rogers.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 13, 2018, at Ellistown Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Powell officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at United Funeral Service in New Albany, and from 12 noon until service time at Ellistown Baptist Church the day of the service.
