Elizabeth “Lisa” Boyd West

Elizabeth “Lisa” Boyd West, 57, died Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi in Oxford after an extended series of illnesses.
A native of Meridian, she moved to New Albany in 1986 to work here. An award-winning on-air radio personality and music director, she was known as Lisa Landau and worked at KZ-103, Miss 98 and other stations before she became disabled.
She and her husband, James Lynn West, were married Aug. 29, 1987.
She was a communicant of the Catholic Church and, prior to her illness, was active in church and community affairs.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at United Funeral Service with the Rev. Joe Tonos officiating. Visitation will be from noon to the time of the service. Burial will be in New Albany City Cemetery. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include her husband, Lynn West; a brother, Keith Boyd and wife Lynn of Meridian, a sister-in-law, Penny Brown and husband Glen of Chickasaw County; and two nephews, James and Stephen Boyd and families of Lauderdale County.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Travis and Peggy Boyd.
