Dorothy Faye Langford

Dorothy Faye “Dot” Thompson Langford, 87, died Friday, July 27, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center Hospice Unit. She was born April 9, 1931, in Union County to Joseph Arthur and Maudie Caldwell Thompson. She attended New Harmony School. She was an active member of Harmony Baptist Church. She was retired from Mohasco after 46 years. She loved cooking, spending time with her family, making ceramics, and creating quilts. She enjoyed being outside working and spending time in her yard and flower gardens and visiting with her neighbors and friends.

She is survived by a daughter: Betty Langford of Jackson, MS.; a son: David Langford (Jenny) of Saltillo; her daughter-in-law: Mary Langford of Tupelo; seven loving grandchildren; 17 loving great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband: Euel B. Langford, whom she married on October 27, 1945; one son: Bobby Gene Langford; and an infant daughter: Carolyn Marie Langford.
