Coy Jane Polston Floyd, 63, died Monday, December 26, 2016, at the North Mississippi Medical Center. She was born August 31, 1953, in Crescent City, CA., to H L and Mary Smith Polston. She was a member of Salem Baptist Church.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2016, at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery at Potts Camp with Bro. Randy Bynum officiating with burial to follow. United Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
She is survived by her parents; her husband: Robert Thompson; 2 daughters: Peggy Sue Monk (Gary) of Pearl, MS. and Saundra Maglipon (Rookee) of Las Vegas, NV.; 2 sons: John Floyd, Jr. (Molly) of Gresham, OR. and Michael Floyd of Myrtle; 2 sisters: Catherine Polston of Potts Camp and Karen Polston Knox (Richard) of Mt. Ulla, NC.; 1 brother: Larry Polston (Shawn) of Salem, OR.; 21 grandchildren: Allan Friley, Michael Todd Friley, Wilda Keith, Charlotte Street, William Monk, Karina Garrigues, Marissa Garrigues, Miranda Floyd, Mecedez Ahumada, Ke’Koa Maglipon, Kobe Maglipon, Alexis Floyd, Sarah Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Jeremiah Thompson, Jordan Thompson, Kylan Thompson, Evan Barlow, Logan Thompson, Blake Thompson, and Shelby Thompson; 7 great-grandchildren: Rae’lynn Monk, Abbagail Keith, Devin Keith, Gabriel Street, London Street, Levi Street, and Brylee Grace Thompson; 4 nephews: Christopher Thompson (Andrea), Timothy Thompson (Liz), Bobby Thompson (Shelly), and Jared Knox; 3 nieces: Katelynn Deangalo (Andre), Brandi Polston, and Bobbi Polston; and 1 great-nephew: Oliver Deangalo.
Visitation will be Friday, December 30, 2016, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Salem Baptist Church.
