Brenda was a sweet and loving person who enjoyed singing, going to movies, Braves baseball, Ole Miss football, attending church services when able and talking about her daughter and grandson whenever she had the chance. She had numerous friends because she only had to meet a person once to know them forever.

Brenda battled mental illness throughout her life and donated her body to The University of Mississippi Medical Center as a gesture of support in finding a treatment or cure. In lieu of flowers donations in Brenda’s memory can be made to the Jennie Stephens Library, 219 King Street, New Albany, MS 38652 to help further the gift of knowledge to others.
