Farmers’ Market and BNA Bank roll out “Produce Power”
New Albany’s Biscuits & Jam Farmers’ Market and BNA Bank are working together to sponsor a new program this summer called Produce Power. They are giving $5 tokens to be exchanged for fresh produce to every fourth grader in the city and county, the Boys and Girls Club and New Haven students.
This program will potentially put $2500 directly into the hands of local farmers and encourage 500 families to shop for fresh produce at the Farmers’ Market.
New Albany’s Biscuit & Jam Farmers’ Market will be open 7:30-10:30 AM Saturday mornings June through August.
